February 13th, 2012 Posted in news | Comments Off

The rescheduled Redland City Australia Day Rally 2012 was a big success. The weather for the rally whic was rescheduled from the wet Australia Day to Sunday the 12/2/12 was just fantastic.  While numbers were down slightly for the rescheduled event there were still over 350 vehicles displayed at Ormiston state school.  900 Free Breakfast with tea & coffee were enjoyed by members of the public and the crews of the historic vehicles. The raffle on the day raised $1500 for Sailability (A bayside charity giving disabled people a chance to experience sailing)
The BVRC wishes to thank our Naming Rights Sponsor – The Redland City Counci, our other major supporters the RACQ and Pure Oil and all the owners of the historic & classic vehicles who attended the rally making the day the success it was.
