Membership of the Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club (BVRC) is open to all old vehicle enthusiasts all over the world. You do not have to be a vehicle restorer to become a member of our club, just someone who is interested in older vehicles. The club has about 150 members and there are over 300 vehicles ranging from 1914 to 1978 in the club. Club events are centred around the southeast corner of Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coasts).

Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club (BVRC) encourages members with all varieties of vehicles, including Veteran, Vintage, Post Vintage, Historic a Modern Classic. The club organises regular runs on week-ends and mid-week as well as major events such as our Annual Swap Mee, and the Australia Day Rally. All of these events  attract members from other clubs. These events enable members to network with fellow old vehicle enthusiasts. Our club members are invited to events & runs organised by many other historic vehicle clubs.

BVRC also organizes social events such as dinners and other outings throughout the year. Each year the club organizes a long distance rally/trip. Last year’s long trip was to Adelaide for the “Bay to Birdwood”.

Members of the club are able to concessionally register their vehicles over 30 year old for a about $170/year. More information is available from Queensland Transport.

The club produces a very good club magazine four times each year. A sample magazine is available for download. The club also has an extensive library of workshop manuals, technical books and general motoring books available to members. These books are invaluable when undertaking a restoration or just trying to find out some details about certain models.

To join our club you must attend a General Meeting wtih a completed membership application form. There is a a Joining Fee of $35 plus an Annual Fee of $25. General meetings are held on the second Friday of each month at the Donald Simpson Centre, 172 Bloomfield Street, Cleveland, at 7.30 pm.
