The Redland City Australia Day Rally 2012 was rescheduled from Australia Day to Sunday the 12/2/12 due to the rain on Australia Day and the flooding of some roads.
The rescheduled event was a success with over 350 historic & classic vehicles attending the days activities, which started with the official opening at 7.30am. Over 900 free breakfasts were served to crews of the vehicles and members of the public who can to see the wonderfull old vehicles. The weather was a perfect Queensland summer day, a little warm in the sun but just fine in the shade. There was plenty of shade to sit and enjoy breakfast before people wandered around the Ormiston School grounds to look at the vehicles. at 10.15am the vehicles left on one of the four different rally runs through the Redlands before stoping for lunch at the Alexandra Hills Hotel for lunch.
